Haunted Hayride

Haunted Hayride

Charlotte Winchell

It is a cold and rainy night. There are people lining up at the barn doors getting impatient. As you pull up the long driveway, you are greeted by the snack shack. While on the ride, you are chased by an escaped prisoner, zombies, and people with chainsaws and clowns.

For the first stop, we are greeted by a prison guard telling us about Bones, the escaped prisoner. Then, after we leave him we are being chased by the Pigman. After the Pigman scares us to death, we go to the cemetery, where zombies with big heavy bars pop out of coffins and scrape their bars on the hay wagon. And as we head further down the path, a train comes at us and doesn’t stop till it’s almost too late. From there, it takes us to kids with chainsaws, who actually put the chainsaw to the wagon and on the hay bales that we were sitting on. They do that to scare us and act like they are going to cut is. But there is not a chain on the saw. Then comes the scary clowns, my brother being one of them (see picture to the left). There are  four little clowns that jump onto the sides of the wagon and shake it and shine lights on their faces. There is really tall guy dressed as a creepy joker climbs up the wagon and jumps in to sit next to people and creep them out. Then, the little clowns jump onto the golf cart and chase us out the rest of the way, getting really close to the wagon, almost hitting it.

After the ride, you walk through a haunted house, where you have to pick the door that leads out of there, and then you are lead down a pitch black hallway, where the Pigman jumps out and follows you and then pops his head out a little window and scares you again(picture to the right)

I really enjoyed this place. I would definitely go again. There were so many scares and it was so much fun, listening to the little kids on the ride get scared and scream. I would recommend going there if you want to go to a place that really makes you feel like you’re a part of it all. This hayride is every weekend for the month of October.
