Ms. Casey Jordan-Pruitt is the new Home-School Coordinator for Belfast Central School. She grew up close to Belfast in the town of Belmont and went to school at Genesee Valley. She started college at Alfred State. After being at Alfred for a while, she decided to continue her education at the University of Phoenix and finished at Upper Iowa University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services.

Ms. Casey now lives in Wellsville, NY with her three children: Jordan, who is sixteen,  Jaxson, who is four, and her daughter Charleigh, who is seven months old. She also has a Golden Retriever named Harley. Some of her hobbies include traveling, trying as many new things as she can, doing crafts with her kids, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Casey said, “I am trying to bring as many different clubs and activities to Belfast as I can to get more students involved with extracurriculars  and hopefully more community engagement.” A couple of the clubs she wants to get students involved in are Rainbow Club (The G.S.A), Big Little Bulldogs, and Natural Helpers.  “My goal is to make students and families feel welcome in our community and provide resources to students and families in need,” Ms. Casey stated.

If you happen to see Ms. Casey, give her a warm welcome to Belfast. She will be a great help to our school and community.
