Before the Section V tournament started, the Belfast Lady Bulldogs Basketball team picked up two more wins to end the regular season. The first was a 44-27 victory over Hinsdale. A close game throughout, Belfast pulled away with a 17-5 run in the 4th. MacKenzie Hamer had fifteen points for the Bulldogs, while Michaela Pastorius and Morgan Hamer each added ten and eight points respectively as the Bulldogs improved to 10-8 and 9-0 in the league ad officially won the D2 county title. Belfast ended the regular season with a 51-31 victory over Scio. Mackenzie Hamer  added nineteen, Pastorius had thirteen and Blocho netted eleven. Belfast ended the regular season 12-8.

The #7 seeded Lady Bulldogs took on the #10 seed Lima-Christian Saints on February 21st. Another close game throughout, the ladies managed to pull out a 44-31 victory in the final game for the seniors on Vienna Court. Michaela Pastorius netted a game high twenty points and sixteen boards, while Pastorius netted seventeen points and thirteen boards. The run ended with a 66-37 loss to #2 Romulus on February 24th. Hamer led the way with fifteen, while Pastorius finished with eight points and fifteen boards and Broshar added eight.

The Lady Bulldogs finished the year 12-9, and the season was far from a loss. Belfast won its first county title since 2011, Michaela Pastorius and MacKenzie Hamer were selected as D2 all stars, and those two and Eryn Broshar were selected to the exceptional senior game and MacKenzie was named MVP for D2. The Lady Bulldogs say farewell to Eryn, MacKenzie, Michaela, and Sarah Marsh but these ladies leave knowing how successful they were. The team thanks everyone that helped and supported them this year.
