The varsity baseball team this year will be returning eight players: Adam Enders, Kevin McCumiskey, Mackenzie Cox, Matt Borden, Austin Gustason, Shane Preston, Dalton Hamer, and Johnathan West. Rookies this year include Alex Enders, Eli Broshar, Nathaniel Hurd, Zach Bradshaw, and Gage Lincoln.

Last year, we went nine and one in the league, beating everyone except our final league game against Whitesville. Our starting pitcher had a record setting nineteen strikeouts in that game and we still lost. We won the county title and lost in the second round of the playoff, an overall ugly game against Prattsburg. Shane Preston was asked “What is it that you are looking forward to this year?” He replied “Slapping dingers and bringing home the hardware.” Mackenzie Cox was asked the same question and answered with “Homers and RBIs.”  This baseball season should be a good one!
