Collin Jones

Collin Jones is from Caneadea, NY and was in the BCS class of 2012. He attended Jamestown Community College for his Associate’s degree, Alfred State College for his Bachelor’s degree, and St. Bonaventure University for his Master’s degree. He majored in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Sports Management, and Business Management, respectively. He is currently a cashier at the Belfast Mini Mart and a substitute teacher at BCS. He is also a sports information and marketing intern with St. Bonaventure Athletic Department. Collin previously worked as a ticket sales intern with the Rochester Rhinos over the summer and has put in hours with the Houghton College Athletic Department.

Collin’s future goals are to work in professional sports and eventually work his way up to being president of a professional sports organization.  Favorite memories from high school for Collin include participating in sports, spending time with friends, and learning from exceptional teachers. When asked for some advice to younger students, Collin Jones says: “Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams. You’ll encounter people who’ll think you’re crazy for wanting to do what you want. Stay committed and don’t give up! Also, don’t forget where you came from and all of the people who have helped you along the way.”
