On March 31st, 2017, lights shined and loud music played in everyone’s ears. The Middle School Dance was occurring in the auditorium. The music requests piled up and everyone was had a great time, as we had been waiting all year for this moment. With everyone’s bodies moving, we had fun dancing and enjoying our Paris Themed Dance. I had the privilege of making the backdrop for the pictures. It was a great night.  The table of food was entrancing, tempting us with the smell of pickles, chocolate milk, cake, and chips. There were tables set all around us for us to sit at and socialize. With the admission cost of three dollars, you could have gotten all this. The masks that everyone wore added to the dance as no masks were alike, adding a sense of individualism and personal creativity.  I encourage you to come to next year’s Middle School dance and enjoy it while you can. This is my last year as a middle schooler. I advise you to make the most out of middle school as you can before your scary high school years.
