Maxine Warner (Gorney) graduated in 1995 from Belfast Central School and now lives in Berlin, New Hampshire. She completed her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Master’s in Advanced Instruction at St. Bonaventure University and is currently working on her dissertation for a PhD in Psychology from Capella University. She currently works as an Education Specialist for the U.S. Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons. Her favorite memory from attending high school in Belfast was her senior trip to Disney. When asked to advise BCS students, she said “Don’t sell yourself short. If you want to do it, do it. Look beyond the borders of what is easy and try something outside of your comfort zone, as you never know what you can do until you try it.”
