Happy Retirement

Happy Retirement

Hannah Lindo

This year we say goodbye to two very significant faculty members here at BCS. Mrs. Lyman, our high school art teacher, is retiring this year after thirty years of service. Her positive attitude and her encouraging words made her both an inspiration and a role model to us all. Mrs. Gilbert, our school librarian, is also retiring after twenty-one years of service. Her drive to push us to be the best we can be, as well as her contributions in activities like school plays, show her dedication and general support of the school and its potential. We wish both staff members the best and hope that they enjoy their retirement ahead of them. We will miss them dearly, but their impact will forever be imprinted on our hearts and their legacy will live on through their students. Mrs. Lyman and Mrs. Gilbert, thank you for your every kindness and consideration towards the students here at this school. You will definitely be remembered, not just for what you’ve done, but for what you’ve  taught and motivated us to do, which is nothing but our best. Because you worked here, many became better people. You’ve impacted lives and touched hearts — we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
