The Belfast Drama Department is proud to present their winter production of The Lion King Jr! This classic Disney Tale features famous songs, including “Hakuna Matata,” “Circle of Life,” and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” in addition to numerous African Chants from the acclaimed Broadway production.

The story centers around Simba, a young lion who will one day become the king of his pride.  After a tragedy, Simba has to leave home before he can take his place as king.

The talented cast of beginners to veterans and determined directors are ready to present this production and remind our community of the power of our roots. The production will be performed December 8th and 9th in the BCS auditorium.
