Miranda Harms graduated from BCS in 2001. She attended college at MCC, where she received an Associate’s degree in Humanities and Social Science. She is currently attending SUNY Empire State to finish her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.  Currently residing in West Henrietta, NY, Miranda holds a job as a career counselor at RochesterWorks, working full time in addition to being a full-time student.

When asked for memories regarding her high school experience, Miranda recalls playing knockout in the gym during lunch, student council meetings, and working the concession stand during sporting events. Miranda enjoys helping others realize their educational and occupational goals. She keeps busy with her three children, twin twelve year olds and an eight year old, and coaches their soccer team.  She’s an avid reader, reading at least four books a month.  In addition, she is part of the Monroe Countywide Autism Task Force. “Follow your passion, but research before selecting a major,” she says. Everyone has opportunity, and everyone has potential.”
